    Privacy policy

    This Privacy Policy is made available by Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l., pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/03 “Personal Data Protection Code” and Articles 13 and 14 of EU Regulation 2016/679 in force and in application since 25/05/2018, for the http://www.giuntipsy.com Website, for the data processing activities carried out in the Company’s offices as part of its normal business activities. Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l. guarantees compliance with the current legislation on the protection of personal data and on personal protection and specifies that personal data provided by data subjects directly or indirectly through various collection channels, managed by the Data Controller, or acquired by third parties in compliance with the law, shall be processed in a lawful, relevant and correct manner, in compliance with the principles set out by Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and by EU Regulation 2016/679.

    Data Controller, Data Processors and Persons in Charge of the processing of personal data

    The Data Controller is Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l., with registered office in Via Fra’ Paolo Sarpi 7/A, 50136 Florence, Italy, Tax Code, Florence Companies Register and VAT no. 00421250481, REA FI-119169. Within Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l. the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) pursuant to Article 37 of EU Regulation 2016/679 is entrusted to Avv. Victoria Parise privacy@giuntipsy.com.Your personal data shall be processed by authorised personnel or by persons in charge under the direct authority of the respective Data Processor. The updated list of Data Processors is available and can be consulted at the corporate headquarters. In addition to employees of Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l., the processing of personal data may also be carried out by third parties, to which the company entrusts specific activities (or part thereof) connected to or instrumental to carrying out the data processing or to the provision of the services offered. In such cases, the subjects in question shall operate either as autonomous data controllers or co-data controllers or shall be appointed as data processors, persons in charge or persons authorised to process the personal data.

    Type of data processed

    The collection and subsequent processing of personal data are carried out by the Data Controller at the Company’s offices listed above and by companies entrusted by it, as well as through its portal http://www.giuntipsy.com, in compliance with the applicable security measures and provisions of the Laws for the processing of personal data currently in force.

    1. Browsing data
      The IT systems and software used by these websites automatically acquire, as part of their normal operation, some personal data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. The information collected is data which, by its very nature and through associations and processing with data held by third parties, could allow users/visitors to be identified (e.g. IP address, computer domain names used by users/visitors connecting to the website, etc.). This data is only used to obtain statistical information and to verify the correct operation of the websites. Typically such data is deleted immediately after processing. The data in question can be used to ascertain responsibility in case of damage to the websites or offenses perpetrated via the network.
    2. Data supplied by the user
      When users/visitors, by connecting to these websites or by any other form of written or verbal communication, send their personal data in order to access certain services, or to make requests via email, Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l. and/or third parties with whom Giunti Psychometrics might supply the service requested by the user / visitor, shall acquire such data. Such data shall be processed exclusively to fulfil the request or to provide the service in question, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Personal data expressly provided by users/visitors shall be communicated to third parties only if the disclosure is necessary to comply with the users/visitors’ requests. By filling out the “registration”, “contact us” and/or “newsletter” pages or by sending requests in any mode, these actions involve the capture of the data in question in the system memory. The data is protected by an authentication system and accessible only to those in possession of the relevant credentials. When a user sends a request for information via email, their email address is stored in order to respond to the sender’s requests. The data stored in the message are included. For processing data contained in paper documents, the necessary access restrictions are adopted to ensure that the data is accessible to authorized individuals only.

    Purposes of the data processing

    The processing of personal data, as well as of telephone numbers and telematic data, is essential to comply with the requests received from users, visitors and/or customers. The provision of such data is therefore mandatory, since in case of lack of consent or revocation of the same, it shall not be possible to process the data (legitimate interest). It should be noted that any incorrect or insufficient communication of the requested data may result in the total or partial impossibility on the part of the Company to comply with the interested party’s requests and the possible inconsistency of the data processing results with respect to the agreements entered into or to the obligations imposed by applicable rules and regulations. In particular, the processing of personal data shall be aimed at providing services to users/visitors/customers, relating to the stipulation and execution of the contract for the purchase of materials, publications and/or content. In order to guarantee users/visitors/customers’ satisfaction and to meet their expectations, data processing is also aimed the optimal management of production and stocks of various materials, through the statistical processing of the collected data. With the specific consent of the interested party the data may also be processed in order to identify customers’ tastes, preferences and/or habits, the degree of customer satisfaction, to send commercial information or advertising materials, to organise direct marketing campaigns, to allow customers to participate in games, competitions and/or prize draws, to provide customer protection services, to carry out market research as well as other transactions directly or indirectly attributable to marketing activities. The provision of these data, however, is not mandatory. The possible refusal to consent to the processing of personal data and/or the withdrawal of such consent shall not affect the establishment/continuation of the main relationship with the Company.

    Data processing method

    The data processing shall be carried out using automated means (e.g. using electronic procedures and media) and/or manually for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected and in accordance with applicable legislation in force.

    Communication and dissemination of data

    The processed data are exclusively common data and are not intended for dissemination. The Data Controller does not require and has no interest to acquire and process data classified as sensitive or judicial data. The data shall be disclosed to third parties in compliance with the requirements imposed by applicable laws and regulations (institutions, law enforcement authorities, judicial authorities, etc.) or in relation to activities directly or indirectly related to the business relationship. By way of example but not limited to, this includes:

    1. Subjects who need to access personal data of the interested party for purposes relating to the business relationship with the Data Controller (banks, financial institutions, carriers, etc.);
    2. Consultants and collaborators, to the extent necessary to carry out the task entrusted by the Data Controller;
    3. Subsidiaries or affiliated companies or companies related to Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l. (and its subsidiaries), which may access the data to the extent strictly necessary to carry out the activities provided for by their corporate purpose.

    The data may be communicated to subjects operating within the European Union, or in countries that guarantee the same level of protection provided for by Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and by specific Agreements in force with the EU. As Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l. may decide to also operate at an international level, the processing of personal data in the various countries shall be adapted to the most restrictive rules, in order to ensure the highest level of data protection for the data subject. The processing of personal data shall also be carried out after the end of the main business relationship, in compliance with applicable regulatory provisions regulating the retention of documents and records and, where expressly authorized, to consent the establishment of future relationships and to ensure the archival of personal data, also in the interest of the customer and verified on an annual basis. Within the Data Controller’s organisation, the interested party’s data may be processed by the various organisational areas involved.

    The companies to which you are giving your consent by computerized means are Giunti Psychometrics S.r.l. and the Centro di Sessuologia Integrato “Il ponte”.

    Rights of the interested parties

    The subjects to whom the personal data refers have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation of the existence or non existence of their personal data and to be informed of the content and source, to verify its accuracy or to request the integration, updating, rectification, erasure, portability (pursuant to Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/03 and Articles 12 to 22 of EU Regulation 2016/679), as well as the right to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of personal data processed in violation of the law, or, in any event to oppose to the processing of the data for legitimate reasons.
